Form from query - This Recordset is not updateable?

Hi,

I have an Access form which is source is a query.

However the main objective is to:

Load a Warehouse Rota, a base plan of all the teams, start times etc.

When the Rota has loaded I want the ability to change the default loaded values with Holiday , Sick, OT etc.

The form wont change and says 'This Record set is not updateable'

What do I need to change to enable myself to change the Textbox values to a combo selection value.

I also want this value saved for when the next user loads this Week Commencing form record.


Do I need a table for the data to store to retrieve later?



What do I need to change to allow edits and also save the edits?

SOME queries are not updatable due to their joins.
Try editing straight into a table.
