    Access printing issue

    Hello everyone
    When I try to print a report from access, the font type and size and page margins get messed up all over the place. I am using access 2016 on windows 8, I tried printing the same report from windows 10 and access 2016 using the same database on the same printer and the report printed correctly. I think this happens when using access 2016 on windows 8. Did anybody have the same problem ? Does anyone know the solution to this issue ?

    Are your drivers up-to-date/correct for your Windows 8 printer?

    thanks for your replay aytee111,

    yes I did try to print it on another printer that is connect over network, and I had the same result (report font type and size and margins are messed up) and I don't think the problem is in the printer, because I tried printing the same report from another windows 10 pc that is connected over the network to the printer that is attached to with windows 8 pc (the pc where the printing is wrong) and the report printed correctly, so:

    windows 8 ----> printer 1 = printing wrong
    windows 8 -----> printer 2 = printing wrong
    windows 10 ----> printer 1= printing right

    it seems to me that windows 8 on access 2016 is causing the issue ?

    any suggestions ?

    no I did not try that yet .. but even if that worked .. how will that solve my issue? I want my users to print directly from access (by clicking a command button)

    In the command button you can save as PDF and print the PDF, put it in temp or somewhere and delete it afterwards.

    Note - this is just a workaround, I was answering your question as how to do it, I am not advocating that this is the answer!

    I don't know how to help you further! How did you create the pdf? Was it thru the ribbon or thru code? There are so many ways to do it. Can you load a different version of Access on to the W/8 machine? Or a runtime?
