    Moving back end

I have a database on one of the computers in my local area network .. This database is split into front end and back end .. Previously when I wanted to move the back end to another computer in my local area network, I copy the back end to the new computer through the network and then open the front end and go to the linked table manager and change the links to the new location and then copy the front end to the new computer .. but now I need to move the database to a new standalone computer that is not connected to my network .. I tried moving the front end and back end using flash usb drive .. but when I open the front end on the standalone computer it opens as a new database and it does not allow me to access the linked tables manager to change the links to the new location .. how can I solve this ?

Then your access (program, not database) is damaged or not fully installed.
run the fix via the control panel, programs, to repair Access.
it SHOULD have linked table manager.

    or
you can put both FE,BE on another PC.
same folder structure, relink to the local path.
then move the files to the other PC. The links paths will match.

could be the standalone computer only has access runtime. It will need a full version of access to use the linked table manager. Or do as ranman suggests, set up on your pc a local frontend/backend in a folder that can exist on both machines (usually a folder off the c drive or perhaps c:\users\allusers) and copy the folder across to the same location.

Note that since this is a stand alone machine, you will struggle to integrate the data again if the user is adding/changing data.
