Adding 354 items to the list in a combo box.

Hello!

I'm attempting to add 354 items to a list in a combo box on a form. However, Access keeps cutting my list off automatically at 70. This combo box holds a list of institutions to choose from when collecting data. Can anyone help?

Are you trying to set up the combo box using "Value List" as the "Row Source Type"?

With that many options I would use a table.......

As Steve suggested...we really need to know what kind of RowSource Type we're dealing with, here, and, I should think, exactly how you're populating the Combobox. Without knowing these things, we'd just be spinning our wheels, trying to help you.

And if you are, indeed, using a 'Value List,' rather than a Table/Query, as your RowSource, Steve's advice about using a Table as the source is dead-on. With that many items, and a list that is likely to change, over time, a Table/Query is the only approach to take.

Yes, my row source was value list instead of table. I will change that and see if it works.
