there error is saying the number you are trying to enter is not in the list. so ensure it is in the list. If you want to be able to just add new values, change the limit to list property from yes to no - (only applies if list is a single column)

I've not experienced this problem myself - how long is the list? if over 65k - that is the limit for a combo or listbox so may be the reason for your problem

And can you confirm the number is actually in the list as it appears in the combo (it's not been accidentally filtered out) . i.e. scroll down to it and select it

i can confirm that the list are under 65k and that the number is in the list. The program Works fine With Windows XP, but it does not work With Windows 7 or higher.
i have tried several Versions of Access on the Windows 7 or higher pc but nothing Works.

Also, just to clarify is this a problem with just this one number or any number? and does it affect just this one combo or any of the other combo's on the form? or other forms? If not, I would suspect a corrupted form.

Have you decompiled and compacted the db to see if that solves to problem. If not try it and see.

And what version of Access is it written in? Your details says you are using 2016, but that does not mean the app you are running is a 2016 accdb - on XP most likely a .mdb. If an mdb then probably worth upgrading to .accdb
