Microsoft Access 2000 (Old version: I know, I know, I know...) All I got right now on this old XP workstation.
I get this error whenever something goes wrong with my VBA code, although I haven't determined just what as yet. (In a vague sense problem manifestation is a bit like dealing with a "corrupted file"). I can work around the problem by removing all trigger code from all objects and then adding controls and event code on each object all over again...! Needless to say, I might not outlive such an approach. So... Looking for a way to finish this project in Access 2000 on this old XP, then importing it to Access 2010 on my Win10 workstation. Tweak it from there.
Cannot find anything related in MS Access (2000) Help or in two or three aftermarket texts. My guess is that this is an Access configuration problem and could be resolved by configuring the installation as a standalone (single HD) rather than network-based. But I'm not at all sure. Only an uninformed guess.
Any help at all would surely delay further irritation of an already overactive ulcer...![]()
