Creating a From from a Table for a check box

When I created a table for a yes/no decision there was a yes/no data type that allowed one to format the yes/no box as a check/uncheck box in the table. Now when I created a form the resulting box (or control as I believe it is called in the tutorials) allows no such thing.

Thus the check box on the from is clearly not correct. What properties must this box have for it to be a check/uncheck box? Right now there is just gibberish in the box on the form instead
of a box waiting to be checked or left unchecked.

    Any help appreciated.

    Respectfully,

    Lou Reed

if you have a yes/no field in the table, on form design, select the check box on the controls, then grab the yes/no field and drag it to the form.
It is now a checkbox and will assign yes/no or true/false in the data.

I am not sure what you mean "drag it to the form". I put the rooms form in design mode. Selected the box that should be yes/no, pressed f4 and in the format option offered, I selected yes/no.

Nothing changed on the form. I still cannot check/unchecked the check box.

I am not sure what is to be dragged to the form. It seems you mean to take the check box from the rooms table and drag it to the form.

That would mean the rooms table and rooms forms would be open at the same time.

    Is this what you mean?

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Can 'drag' field from the Field List. Click on 'Add Existing Fields' on the Design ribbon to view Field List. Be aware the Property Sheet will disappear.
