Transferring Excel Columns to Access Fields

Hi Guys! Do you know any way to transfer Excel Columns to a Access field in a table. I have a recurring procedure so, I can not use the AccessImport Method. I can add values cell by cell but I want to avoid that as it is gonna take more time. Can anyone help? Thanks a lot!!

Note that you can link Excel tables to Access tables (you do not need to actually import the physical Excel file).

If you are looking to update existing Access tables with Excel data, one way is to link the Excel file (like I mentioned), then run Action Queries (Append/Update Queries) to update your existing Access tables. If you need help with that, we will need more information (maybe post an actual example of what you are trying to do).

    Thank you for your reply.

Actually, I want to run a VBA code that makes a column in the excel file and then transfer it to Access with a certain Field Name. Then this excel Column is replaced by another set of Values and I want to transfer it to Access with another Field Name. So, I do not have all the columns in the excel files and I think I can not use the update queries here :/

This seems a bit obscure/abstract. Can you walk us through an actual example of what you are trying to do?
I think it is important to see how these values are being related.

Agree, makes no sense to me why Excel has to be involved if you want to programmatically create records. If you want to routinely programmatically create new fields, this indicates non-normalized data structure and very bad design.
