    Burning Databases to a CD

Okay, this must sound like a very easy question. I guess to some it is; it is not to others.

I am looking to collect all of the databases that I have worked these past few months and burn them on a CD.

I know how to do this on that other operating system (hint: rhymes with Unix): I do not know how to do it in Windows 7.

Maybe I do not have to know. The question is how can I burn all of the databases in the Recent column in MS Access 2010? Is there a way to do this in MS Access 2010. There is way to print out tables, reports and forms in MS Access 2010; so maybe there is a way to burn a bunch of files within Access to a CD.

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Respectfully,

    Lou Reed

What exactly do you do in Linux - iterate through a folder and save files to CD? This is possible in VBA. http://www.allenbrowne.com/ser-59.html

I don't know that code can refer to the Access Recent list.

I found code for listing Recent files from Excel - it works. http://www.worldbestlearningcenter.c...es-example.htm

Can't get it to work with Access. Although seems it is possible. This link offers a commercial product to purge the recent list. No idea if they make the code available. http://www.findprotected.com/solutio...ent_access.htm I guess MRU means Most Recent Used.

How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
