Angry Started backwards...Can I create a table using a form?

First, forgive me if this has been covered. I ran a search, but I couldn't find what I was looking for.

I'm learning Access in a class right now. The Prof started by showing us how to create forms from scratch. Using that information, I started my final project of creating a database. During the next class, he proceeded to show us how to create a table. He then showed us how to use that table to create a form and explained that the first step is always a table. My problem is that I have ~10 hours of work that I think is wasted. I have several forms with unbound fields, and nothing is tied to a table. Is there a way to create a table using a form, kind of the opposite of selecting a table and clicking on Form Wizard? Barring that, can I manually tie each text box, check box, combo box, etc. back to a table? Or am I just screwed? Thanks.

yes you can, build your table,
then just assign the form fields 1 by 1 on the form.

Thanks. I'll do some looking and figure out how to assign the form fields to the table. Is the same for all fields (text box, combo box, check box)?

    We call that experience.

Wait till you delete a database by mistake, or get zapped by some corruption, or fail to do a backup --these too are chalked up to "experience".

    Welcome to database.

Can't actually engineer table from form - there is no 'wizard' for that. Create table then open form in design and set properties of form and controls to bind to table and fields. Nothing lost, much experience gained.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Well, I managed to make it work. I found the form properties and tied each form to a matched table. No time wasted!! I sincerely appreciate all the rapid help. On to the next challenge...
