setup and run query in access 2013

I have a question about running a query in access 2013. There basically is a vb.net 2010 desktop application that I am working on. This application actually passes queries to the access 2013 database and obtains the results using a dataset. I am trying to determine what the results of the query is in access 2013.


Thus would you tell me how to copy and paste a query into access 2013 and get it to run. I do not want to use the query desinger for this reason. I just want to copy and paste the query into access 2013. Thus can you tell me how to accomplish this goal?

Open Access query builder and switch to SQL View.

How should I find Access query builder? What do I click on?

This is basic Access functionality. Unless 2013 is really different, click Create on the ribbon then Query Design. Once the builder is open switch to SQL View.
