Modifying contol to show Print dialog

Hi All



My 'print' icon prints whatever is on the page as soon as it is clicked.

I'd like it to show the print dialog detailing which page / how many copies / which printer and so on.

Can someone advise how to do this?

I tried to customize the toolbar by adding the print icon from the File toolbar , but this is the same 'straight-to-print' as I already have.

Grateful for any help.

AFAIK, that icon should open the printer driver dialog. See pages 9 and 10 items "Using Print Preview" and "Printing a report" on http://www.gcflearnfree.org/access2003/16/print

Thanks for getting back. As I said , the printer icon in the File menu just prints directly without reference to a print dialog. I was asking how to have it display the dialog first.

Unfortunately, no longer have Access 2003 available. I did a search on the issue and ran across that site which indicates the icon should open printer dialog. Can only guess there is either a db option setting or report set up causing different action.
