External data from e-mail overwriting responses

    Hi All,

I think I've made a bit of a mistake and I hope that someone here can help.

I have sent out an email asking colleagues to fill out some of a table using the Access email collection tool.
The table is simple and has fields for ClientID, and ClientName. The ClientID is already filled in and my colleagues just need to fill out the remaining field.
All was going well up until one colleague couldn’t fill out all of the clients that were designated to her. She instead forwarded the e-mail to others who filled in what was left.

The issue is that each reply that I receive for her list overwrites the responses of all the previous replies. I can re-export the data into the table, but is there any way to have this data merge rather than overwrite?

Then you need an update query, not append.
