Using Access 2010 I am unable to get the e-mail wizard to find Outlook 2013

When I click on the e-mail wizard I get an error message: 'must have Outlook 2007 or higher'. In fact I have Outlook 2013. I suspect Access 2010 cannot find the newer Outlook 2013. Solutions?

That is an interesting error message. I suspect the wizard will not work with Outlook 2013. You could try adding it to your references and see if that helps, though. Ultimately, you may have to automate Outlook from Access.

You can make a reference to Outlook from the VBA editor. In the Menu Bar, click Tools and select References. There should be a reference for Microsoft Office and a separate one for Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Office Outlook.
