Record changes based on Log in details

    Hi,

I need to create a system, in which I am planning to include Log in details. Only with username and password can login to make changes.

Why I am doing is, suppose if a record is changed 10 times, I wanted to know what are the login IDs that made changes to that record and when. In short, after logging in, whenever someone makes a change to a record, it should be captured.

Any tutorials explaining similar examples please?

    Thank You,
    Bharat

A log in method is custom set up based upon a user table you create. If the compare between the values is valid then you present them forms that allow edits.

The most straight forward way to keep a record of changes is to duplicate the record adding a time stamp plus the User ID. None of this is an embedded feature of the product and must be set up by a developer.
