Totalling an Income less expense report

Hi I have a report for total Expenses and this can be totalled on a report by a date range. I also have an Income report and again this can be done by a date range (Tax year eg April to end of March)

Is their a way of creating a report that Uses the income by date range but automatically deducts the expenses for this date range aswell to get a total profit for the specified date range.

    Help is very much appreciated

    1. Create another report that includes both income and expense reports as subreports.
In order to make the date range consistent, make sure that both queries of the subreports refer to a single parameter that is placed on a form.

    2. Each subreport should have a total textbox. This total should be referenced in the main report. You can compute the net income using these two textboxes on the main report.
