    New report in design view will not save.


    I have a report I just recreated because the original would not save my changes, it just hangs there; and I cannot "Quit" Access either. If I click the red "X" and do not save my changes it will close the program and all my changes are lost. WHat causes this and how can I fix it? I had tried the compact and repair before recreating the report and that didn't change anything.

    Corruption is only thing I can think of. Try building report from scratch again, in small steps. Start with just setting the RecordSource and saving. If can't get beyond that point, something is seriously wrong.
