    Question Search Field

I am not sure if this is possible, but it is my current goal.

I would like to be able to set up a field on my form that you can use as a search. The catch is that I would like it to be able to search all fields of the table that the form is controlled by as well as the subform fields. In other words here is the scenario:

I currently have a form that is linked to my employees to display name, extension, department, etc. I have multiple subforms as well, one to show assets assigned, another to show which port they are on, another to see what licensed software is associated to the computer they have, and finally another form to show was accessories they have assigned to their assets.

Is there a way to have a singular search field for all of these? Or is there a way to get it set up to where you can tell the search button to filter the search to a certain area?

Thanks. I will look into that and see if I can benefit from it.
