Populate a table using a text box populated by a combo box

I have a drop down list box:

Column 0 - Employee No
Column 1 - Employee Name
Column 2 - Designation



Column 0 - updates table 1 with EMPLNO.
Column 1 - appears in the form
Column 2 - is what I want to appear in form and updates the same table 1 under Designation.

How can I do these?

Can anyone assist please.
