Form not working for 1 person...

Okay, this is driving me nuts! I have a search form for a database that allows the user to search by SSN, name, etc. They click a button to update the list with their search criteria and then double click on the needed patient to bring up that patient's record. Search form works fine for me and for the other 2 users, but for 1 person it won't work. She enters the search criteria and clicks on the button and nothing happens. I am at a complete loss as to how this is possible. Absolutely any ideas anyone has I will try or check out!!

Is the db split, with one be and each user having a copy of the fe on their own machine.

Yes the database is split. It's on a network, so each person just has to go to the DB location and open it; they don't have their own copy of it. Could it be security settings maybe?

Ok, solved it..........it was the macro security settings, blocking macros. She had never used MS Access on her computer before.

A multi-user database should be split, with one backend and each user having a copy of the frontend on their own machine. I'm not saying this is the cause of your problem but it is not ​set up correctly, so it might be.

You may have solved your current problem but I would strongly advise you to split the db in the proper manner.

Yes, one think I don't like about the way it's set up now, is that if I have to work on it, I have to make sure everyone is out of it. I'm assuming this would solve that issues as well.

Yes indeed. You would allow the users to continue using their individual fe's while making changes to a copy on your own machine and then just replace their front end with the new version and link each one to the be.
You could also be surprised at how much quicker forms and reports etc open when the front end is on the users machine. Network traffic will be much lower as well.
