New database, two tables from Outlook, need a relational field

    Hi,
It is many years since I used Access.

What I have is a table in Access with about 1300 contacts (called Contacts) from Outlook and another from the same source (called Companies) but with one record for each company/town (some companies are in multiple facilities).

I have a primary key in each that is Autonumbered and a number field in the Contacts that is planned to contain the primary key from the Companies table.

The idea being that I then have a relational database based upon the CompanyName / BusinessCity.

What I don't know is how to copy the primary key data from the related (by name and town) field in Companies into the secondary field of Contacts.

    All help gratefully received.

    Thanks,

    Steve.

Edit: This is my query so far but nothing is being copied.:

    Found it.

There was no '=' in the Update to: parameter of the second column.
