    Many-To-Many Relationships

    Hi Everyone,

I'm having difficulty understanding what I'm doing wrong. I'm trying to create a database that will contain many-to-many relationships. For instance, a segment of the database will contain:
    1) Manufacturers with associated distributors
    2) Distributors with associated manufacturers

    I'm having two issues:
    A) Form cannot be updated error message

    B) The drop-down form displays the record number instead of the text associated with the record

Attached is a sample of what I'm trying to create.
    Database9.zip
I feel like I'm missing a basic concept. Does anyone have suggestions on what I'm doing wrong and how I can fix this problem?

    Appreciate the help.

    All the best,

    Dan
