Gray Out Screen When Modal Popup

    Hello all,

Out of curiosity, is there a way to gray out the access objects behind a modal popup? Similar to the behaviour found in HTML5/CSS for modal dialogs for some websites? Right now, (at least on A2010), when you click outside a modal popup, the dialog box flashes, but that's the only visual thing I can see that reveals that the popup is modal.

This is just an aesthetic thing and I couldn't find any resources on how to do this with Access/VBA, but it'd be nifty to give the user a visual cue that the current popup is a must-complete.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Never seen anything about this and I expect it would be complicated.

See here if it suits. http://blog.nkadesign.com/2008/ms-ac...t-backgrounds/
Open the transperent (LightBox) form just before the code opening your modal form.
