Question Saving a Database with the Search bar criteria

Hi -one of my steps for my access class in college is to save a database in Access 2013 with a search bar criteria - however no matter how I try Access opens up even after I save as with all the objects showing. Is there a way to save so that when I open access it already has the search bar criteria saved?

    thanks

What do you mean by 'search bar criteria'? All objects showing where?

In the navigation pane she asked us to enter criteria in the search and save with the results of the search showing it as limited objects but it doesn't save it with that limited search and shows all objects when I reopen Access.

Never heard of saving the Navigation Pane search results. I don't see how this can be done. But I am running Access 2010. Don't see a 'Limited Objects' selection in the Navigation Pane dropdown.

Can set Navigation Pane options to hide stuff. But not finding code to do this programmatically.
