I split my database, but not everyone can open it

    Good morning!

I have split my database into a front end and a back end, both available on our shared network, but a few of my coworkers are unable to open up the front end. When I looked at their computers, I noticed that for some reason their pathway to the specific shared network folders I have the front end and back end in are not exactly the same as the rest of ours. They have one extra folder in their pathways, and my theory is that this is causing their computers to not be able to find the back end to link the tables. Does this make sense? If so, does anyone have any advice on how to get their computers to recognize where the back end is? Thanks in advance!

    Nevermind, I figured it out!

For anyone facing a similar problem, I just needed to change the path of the tables in the back end to a universal naming convention (UNC) path. This way, if the shared network drive has a different letter on one computer than on another, they both still can get to the desired location. Hooray for finding solutions!
