    Atttachment Field

    Reference https://www.accessforums.net/access/...mes-31229.html

was hoping there was a resolution to this. Would like to do the same and display all the file names in an unbound filed. As noted above dragging the filename field on to the form produces the name of the first attachment but not subsequent. Has anyone done this before. Ideally (my dream). I'd like to put this information into the tooltip property such that hovering over the attachment field produces a count of the number of attachments followed by the names.

The only way I can imagine would be to use DAO and look inside the attachment field to iterate all attachments. It would take a little bit of processing power to do it. Might be better to keep a log of what goes in and out and query the log.
