Is there a date checker in Acces????

Hello everyone,I really hope that someone can help me with this..I have 3 .txt files that are linked to a acces database those .txt files are updated each day automatically. Now i have heard that there is a date checker in acces that control if the date is of there current day and if that is not the case than it wil send a error file to a chosen pad.I have searched in acces and google for this option but i didn't find something that could help so i hope someone here can help me with this issue that would really help me allot!Thanks!

I have never had to "Link" to text files before. When I need to validate a date value I use VBA. The date function can return the current system date. Date()
