Report with missing control sources

I have a report that opens up a report of with a condition to an id



if it opens say 5 records of the same id in the report the 1st page shows the fields in the text boxes of the report and the control source obviously works, however on pages 2,3,4 unless there is a change on the report like a different name in the name field compared to the first page - the fields show up empty, null etc

why would this be??

nevermind - corrupt text boxes...
