    Not much info.

Presume you have links to backend tables and have forms for data entry/edit. So as Alex asked, what do you need to 'update'?

    Update database from network

So are you going to distribute a FE to other users/machines?

Are you wanting to link to the db using a webpage? (Mention of intranet)

Are you already tracking/logging usage using an Audit Table within the db or is that something you need to know how to do?

Obviously you catch my point. But i am not using webpage.
After post the thread i have liked the tables through menu Database Tools ----> Linked Table Manager.
When this has done i used form to update data base, Enter new Record button i used it shows error not available now.
    why?

    Update database from network

Is the 'Enter New Record' button a Macro or VBA?
    What does it actually do?
Do any others update buttons work?

I'm not quite sure what you mean.

So you are clicking on the >* in the Record Selectors at the bottom of the Form (Navigation) to go to a New Record and typing in your data into a blank Form?

It is certainly possible to update BE from FE without use of code. FE links to BE tables. Forms bound to table links. Controls on form bound to fields. Entry/edit of data passes directly to table record.

If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post. Identify object involved.
