Exclamation Possible to pull data from making basic queries with NO CODE?

    Good morning all,

I am not proficient in coding/VB/SQL by any means. That being said, I was wondering if it was possible to pull data from my tables through basic queries, getting them to toggle which data I want to see versus what I do not want to see.

Is this possible? I have done really basic ones and they have seemed to work, what do I do about duplicate information?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a great day.

Yes, that's the strong point of MS Access.

Your second question is more complicated. What duplicate information are you trying to get rid of?

If you give us a specific scenario, we can tell you how to do an aggregate query (that eliminates duplicates) or a crosstab (that gives you ability to show results in a table), or whatever else you might need.

I'd suggest you pop over to Access MVP Crystal Long's site at http://www.accessmvp.com/strive4peace/ and read her free book on using Access. It's 2003, but all the basic concepts still apply.
