    Running a query from Excel

    Hi,

    I have a query that I would like to run from Excel, the query has a paramter to enter the date so it does not show when i use the "From Access" button on the data tab in Excel.

    Can someone please tell me how to do this?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the link.

    I have tried it and when i rune it i get an error message saying "Run-time error '3045' could not use database, file already in use"

    I do not know why as the datyabase was closed at the time, any suggestions?
