    Formatting for Percents

I'm sure I asked this question somewhere along the line, but not sure which forum. So I'll present again if ok.

I have a field in my table that I need to format as a percent. . . . seems simple, I have selected Percent as the format and 0 for decimal . . . but instead of results being 85% they are 8500%. . . can anyone advise please?

What actual value in in the field? For it to display 85% the value should be .85
