Exclamation How can I automatically get a blank form when I click on New Record?

    Hi,

I have created this form called New Record. It is linked to another screen, called the welcome screen. On the welcome there are buttons to take you to different forms. I, in this specific example, would like to click on the "New Record" button which will then take me to the New Record form.

Now, the question I have is as follows: Everytime I go to the new record screen it has the inputed data from the previous record I worked on. I would like to know: is there any way for when you press the new record button it takes you to the new record screen and automatically shows you an empty form, one where all the fields are blank and are left to you to input the data? Because if I'm clicking New Record the form all the fields on the form should be empty instead of me tabbing through the completed ones to get to the last, empty one.

Please advise if this is possible, and if it is, do I build a query? Because I'm a beginner, and I don't quite understand queries and all of that. Let me know, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

2 options: the Data Entry property of the form, and the Data Mode argument of OpenForm.
