    Updating a Combo Box

    Hi,

I am an Access Novice trying to design a form with 2 combo boxes. I would like to enable the user to select a value in the first combo box (currently linked to a list of fields) which will trigger the list of values (in this case the values in that field from a related table) for the second combo box. Can anyone provide a suggestion?
    Thanks

I was trying to do this same thing and was told that it required the ability to do some behind the scenes SQL. Something like when you make your selection then your row source comes from a table where values match your selection. I was also told that if you knew how to do some advanced writing of Excel Macros that it would help. I have not had time to figure this out and know it is not much help but thought it might help some.

I am familiar with SQL and have tried writing code to update the box but nothing has worked. Does anyone have any coding suggestions?
