    Split Records From Table/Query in Report

    I have a manufacturer who I paid many times over an 18 month period ending October 2012. We stopped working together for a 6 month period, then resumed in April 2013.

    Is there a way to perform a query that will show both of these periods as separate instances, so his name shows twice on the grouped report. Once for pre October 2012 and again for post April?

    Thanks...

    Try grouping on a calculated field in the query:

    IIf(DateField<= #10/31/2012#, 1, 2)
