    Text Box not retaining info

    When a customer places an order and there is "Notes" that they may need to add to refer back to it..

    but the problem is when closing the order and come back to it the notes are no longer there...

    this is an unbound text box - should it be bound to table/query and that is the reason why?

    Forms do not contain data, they only display data from Tables/Queries. The answer to your question is YES.

    ok so when i create this table then the info will go into this form? do i have to do any type of relationships or query to it?

    What table would you be creating? Can it just be another field in your existing table?
