    Linked Excel spreadsheet

    Dear all,

    Access is not my domain of expertise so I would like to ask you perhaps what it is a stupid question.

    I've linked an Excel spread sheet but one of the columns was not imported at all and in the database it is blank. In the original Excel sheet it is something of this sort AAA; AA; A etc



    Could you please tell me what the problem is? the rest of the excel sheet has been properly imported

    How many columns did you try to import?
    Access will only handle 255 columns.

    How is the database "bland" ???

    oh pardon me, it's a typo. it meant to be blank. It is not that. I have only 9 columns
