Customise Ribbon

Just dipping my toes into xml, but before I go to far.
Actually I don't need any custom buttons I just want to pare down existing


I see Access 2007 s with a CR (customised ribbon) seem all good when opened on an Access 2010 project but as I don't have 2007 I cannot check but I suspect they will not. Any body had experince with Access 2010 CR on 2007?
also is there a list somewhere of xml groups and button names. I know some might be obvious but - like Sort & Filter becomes GroupSortAndFilter or Find becomes GroupFindAccess and buttons well I think it would be good to find a list, I have looked but found little
