Exclamation Pull information to a form, from another form

    Hello everyone,
I am fairly new to access and trying my best to get this specific thing done. I'd appreciate help with this from anybody who can. =)

I am trying to build a form. On that form, I would like to put a button (or something) that could pull information from another form.

    Like:
If I am trying to keep maintenance logs on a truck. I'd have a (FIRST FORM) form that keeps the general info for a specific truck *i.e. License Plate, Make, Model, year, VIN#*

On a second form, I would put more detailed information. Like How many miles the truck has, any upgrades the truck may have, equipment on a specific truck, etc.

^^^On that form, I would like to be able to pull information from the first form onto the second form by the click of a button or some other quickie way of doing it.

I am in somewhat of a bind at work, and would really like to get this done for my boss. Any help, any at all, would be greatly appreciated.

Just so you know, forms do not hold data, tables do. Forms simply display data. Having said that, if both forms are currently open then you can get data from control on the form by using the FORMS collection: http://www.mvps.org/access/forms/frm0031.htm
