New to access need help with doing some basic math with fields set for currency.

Hello, good day! I just installed access 2013, never used access before. I am playing with a stand alone database
where I have fields with currency for deposit, spent, and I need a field for the total. I can't find what I need to do
to tell the field (Balance) to do a math action or function. Need some direction please, Thanks!
