    Question Junction Table ?

I have a question about junction tables.

I have two tables where the relationship between the two is many to many, so I have created a junction table. It is necessary for the child field in the junction table be linked to the primary key field in the parent table, or can you set a field in the parent table to be a lookup field?

Even though Access has the capability of having lookup fields at the table level, it is generally not recommended to use them. Check out this site for the problems table level lookups can cause. Using lookups (combo/list boxes) on forms is the preferred method.
