Question Text formating in Form view

Using Access 2010, Win 7 OS
Seems to me, I should be able to perform text formatting in my forms/subforms (in Form view) i.e., amending text. In Access 2010 the Text Formating on the ribbon bar is not highlighted when I open a file in Form View. I can't amend text in my subforms. I thought this was possible in Access 2007, No?

Disregard question. Am new to Access 2010.

I CAN edit text in Form view after all. I was initially put off by the fact that the Text formatting ribbon was not highlighted (disallowing for font change, size etc) but I am able to delete text and re-word text in FORM view.
