All Access Objects toolbar opens when I try to print my form

    Hi All,

    Using Access 2010.

I purposely disabled the Access Objects to open when the database opens of fear of someone messing with my data. This works.

The problem I'm having is when I use the print button (access macro) on one of my forms, as soon as i click the button, the "all access objects" window opens on the left side navigation.

Is there a setting that will permanately stop this from opening?

    Thank you,

    Josh

First, should print reports, not forms. Forms are intended for screen display and reports for print output.

Second, I just tried to replicate this issue (Access 2007 right now). I opened the Print dialog from the Office button and the Navigation pane remains closed.

I don't use macros, only VBA.

However, if you want to provide code and/or database for analysis, will see what I can do. Follow instructions at bottom of my post.

I made a mistake for posting this. In the embedded macro, under the SelectObject there's an option for In Database Window that was set to "Yes".
I didn't realize what this was until now. Sorry if I wasted anyones time.

Not a waste, we all learned something and another person facing same issue might find this thread and save their sanity.
