    Query data not being returned

I have an Access database set up with a table, several queries and forms (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Pending). When I click on the any of the forms the table come up with rows of data just like it should. When I click on any of the rows instead of the data coming up so that I can edit it the entire Access database shuts down and then restarts. A backup version of the database is generated and it asks me to save it. I have verified that the forms are linked to the correct queries so I'm at a loss as to why this is occuring. Does anyone have any suggestions?

How much testing of the individual pieces did you do? Any problems?

Debugging is best done in small ordered steps.

This accdb was turned over to me when the person who created it left the company so I have been making minor adjustments to it over time but just recently the above started to occur. I'm a novice at Access so I don't know where to begin with debugging other than looking at the properties in design view to make sure that the row source is the correct query and it is.

    2 choices.
Either post the database if that's possible, or narrow down the issue by limiting your debugging to very specific items/issues.

It sounds like you have a click or double click on a record to open another form. If that is something you've recently added, you might check the click or double click event associated with the form involved.
