Query creating records *2 of whats in database

I have an append query that is creating multiple records in the record set. I am wondering what would be causing this? It's a simple append query saving from a form to a to a record set. I am using a list box, if that makes a diffrence. This is my first use of list boxes in a form so maybe it has something to with that. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

You probably don't have a criteria set in the query. Why are you using an append query to save data from a form.

Need more info. you haven't provided the SQL of the query, the controls on the form or what you are trying to do. Please explain.

OK will do sorry I'm new to this. But my problem has changed from that set because I have decided to go with a list box instead. when I try to append data from the list box it is adding multiple fields.

Suggest it would be helpful if you told us in plain English what exactly you are trying to do.
