    Sub forms, tabs, and buttons

I'm creating a new database for applications and I've roughed out (on paper) what I want the form to look like and do. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to do all of it!

Please forgive me if I'm not using the right terminology, I'm trying.

I want there to be one main form where all the application information can be entered, with tabs and buttons linked to add more certain information. I want there to be a 'header' to all the tabs that will provide the primary key (application number), and applicant name on top no matter what tab you are on.

In short, how do I create the form with a header, a few tabs, and a button or two linking to sub forms?

    Thanks!

    Options:

    1. Navigation form (I've never used)

    2. A tab control with subforms on pages of the tab control. Have main form bound to applicants table with a textbox on the main form bound to the application name. Place the tab control below the textbox.
