    Struugling

    Hi am really new to access and have created tables and relationships as per this schema http://www.databaseanswers.org/data_...tics/index.htm
    I now want to create aform called scorecard with a team combo box at the top and when you select the team it will in turn on the next combo box list only the players in that team AND when you select the players name it stores the player ID in the match tableas opposed to the name please explain where i am going wrong i just cant seem to get my head around this

    How do you expect us to tell you 'where i am going wrong' when you've shown us nothing that you've tried as of yet?

    The concept is called "cascading comboboxes" although the exact same thing applies to Listboxes with the MultiSelect Property set to None, and the code is interchangeable. Here are a couple of links with examples:
