    how to update backend?

    Hi there,

I have a prob. with one of my Access databases. It is split into backend and frontend.

Now I updated the backend (added some tables and optimized the relationships). Unfortunately it has no effect to the frontend. Is there a procedure, which I have to do, that my changes in the backend take effect in the frontend.

From the FE, you need to link to the new table(s) in the BE.
I think the command is External Data/Access - "Link to the Data source by creating a linked table". Be sure to select the correct BE first.
