    Custom Form Separate Fields

I have a custom form that has four columns. Columns 1 and 3 are field titles and columns 2 and 4 contain the data fields. Columns 3 and 4 snap to the left right after column 2. I want room between the 2 sets of columns but can't seem to move the fields. Column 2 will "grow" wider if I move Columns 3 and 4 to the right. Suggestions now how to do this?

Select all 4 text boxes, right-click and select Layout/Remove or Remove on the Arrange tab of the ribbon. That should disconnect them. Or, if you're using Datasheet view, switch to Continuous.
