    Runtime forms and report only

    Hi

I have built a simple database for a client and create a runtime which all worked fine. I have a question that if I want to update forms and report or queries and then create a new runtime his data will be lost.

Can I create a runtime which uses the original database but updates the forms and reports etc.

    The application should be split:

Then you just provide a new front end.

Does this process work if my client doesn't have Access installed?

Presumably you mean the full version, in which case yes. The bulk of my users only have the runtime version, and all of my applications are split. You're the one doing the splitting, with the full version.
